What Affects Wholesale Mouthguard Pricing?

Wholesale price is the result of a complete specification. Construction, variants, branding, packaging, quantity, inspection and logistics all affect the final programme.

Construction and specification

Material, layer format, thickness, dimensions, finish and case selection influence material use and processing. A quotation based only on the words “custom mouthguard” cannot be compared reliably with a fully defined product.

Variant count and volume

Two thousand identical units are operationally different from two thousand units split across two sizes, ten colours and several packages. Each variant creates setup, identification and packing work. Consolidating the first range can improve both cost control and inventory turnover.

Branding and packaging

Product marking, case branding, printed cards, boxes, labels, inserts and barcode requirements should all appear in the quotation. Packaging tooling and artwork setup may be one-time or repeat costs, depending on the method.

Inspection and logistics

Ask whether the price includes final inspection, individual packing, inner cartons, master cartons and export documentation. Freight, duties, taxes and destination charges should be separated clearly so the buyer can estimate landed cost.

How to compare quotations

CheckQuestion
ProductAre construction, dimensions, colours and tolerances equivalent?
PresentationAre case, instructions, labels and retail pack included?
QuantityIs MOQ stated by model, colour and size?
ApprovalAre sampling, revisions and pre-production approval defined?
DeliveryWhich freight and destination costs remain outside the quote?

The best quotation is the one that makes assumptions visible. It gives both buyer and manufacturer a stable basis for sampling, production and inspection.
